Kenilworth Union Church and SamaraCare invite clergy and faith leaders to a presentation on how to welcome children, teens, young adults and families into congregations.
Patti Boheme LPCP, Director of Autism Services at SamaraCare, will help participants improve their capacity for creating nurturing spaces for young people with autism and neurodiversity. The 90-minute session will cover best practices and practical steps for congregations.
According to the National Survey on Children’s Health, children with autism are twice as likely as neurotypical children to not attend regular religious services. Please help us to address existing barriers, creating community support that enhances the well being of all families.
